Meeting with Dr. WANG Yong

On the eve of the start of COP 28 currently being held in Dubai, the France China Foundation, the China chapter of the France-Asia Foundation, hosted on Tuesday, November 28, at the offices of Allen & Overy, Dr. WANG Yong, chairman of Shanghai Greenment Environment, a Chinese leader in environmental engineering consulting.

The topic of the lunch « Will China meet its climate commitments? » provided an opportunity to discuss current global climate issues and gain better insight into China’s position and progress in this area.

Dr. WANG Yong has over 30 years of experience in teaching and research, consulting, business management and investments in the environmental sector. He is also a member of the board of directors of the Jane Goodall Institute (Shanghai) as well as director of the Low Carbon Development Research Center at Huzhou Institute – Zhejiang University.

The session and exchanges were moderated by Arthur Sauzay, partner at Allen & Overy France, and Irène Hors, president of the Steering Committee of the France China Foundation.
